At your initial evaluation Dr. Singer or Dr. Carpenter will take the time to carefully listen to your dental issues, needs and concerns. Questions will be honestly answered. Visual images and demonstration models will then be used to present possible treatment alternatives, outcomes, and expectations.
Following a thorough examination and gathering of pertinent records, we will together review the condition of your teeth, and other conditions that may be impacting your teeth, your smile, and your ability to chew and function comfortably and well. It is then up to you to guide us as we formulate a blueprint for dental success!

Dr. Michael Singer, DDS, Prosthodontist
Dr. Michael Singer is an experienced and knowledgeable Prosthodontist providing customized solutions and personalized care for his patients.
Dr. Singer received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and was awarded his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of California at San Francisco (UCSF). He completed two post-doctoral residencies: the first, a one-year in General Practice Residency at the Veterans Hospital in San Diego, and second, a three-year residency at UCSF in Advanced Prosthodontics where he received a Certificate in the Specialty of Prosthodontics.
From routine preventative care to more demanding and specialized prosthodontic therapy, Dr. Singer enjoys developing and managing individualized treatment plans that meet the needs and exceed the expectations of his patients.
Dr. Raymond E. Carpenter, DDS, Prosthodontist
Dr. Carpenter has successfully practiced dentistry since 1976. He received his specialty certificate in Prosthodontics in 1986. After growing up in Southern California, Dr. Carpenter received his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University. He went on to receive a dental degree (DDS) from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, as a recipient of a U.S. Army Health Profession Scholarship. Following eight years of practice as a general dentist, Dr. Carpenter completed a post-graduate residency in Prosthodontics at the University of California at San Francisco (UCSF), where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Carpenter has served on the faculty of the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, and has been a Prosthodontics instructor at UCSF. He has also served on the faculty of the Esthetic Professionals Dental Education Center in Tarzana, California, and is a visiting faculty member at Spear Education in Scottsdale, AZ. He is an active member of the following organizations: American College of Prosthodontists, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, International College of Oral Implantologists, San Diego County Dental Society, American Dental Association. He is also a member and past president of the San Diego Prosthodontic Society.
